Jon’s disappointed in the fan girls.

-
Doctor Who | Donna, Rose/Martha, various | PG-13 | In An Interstellar Burst
Donna’s got a teleport, Rose has an aversion to beaches, and maybe Martha’s not quite as done with all of this as she thought. Next stop: everywhere.

Is there a new trend of twentysomethings having trouble breaking away from their parents, settling down, and starting careers?
Is taking it slow after college and dabbling around a bit a longstanding tradition which today’s fast-paced graduates might benefit from appreciating?
The lease on this apartment is a year long. Am I going to be able to hack it on my own-ish?
Why can’t I have one big nervous breakdown and get it over with, instead of this long grinding slog of background anxiety?
Am I going to get “Oh Bright New Day” unstuck from my head any time soon?

Fake News | “Stephen”/OCs | R, warnings | Just Say No

-
Fake News/Dirty Jobs |”Stephen”(/Jon), “Stephen”/Mike Rowe | PG | Two Modern-Day Robin Hoods
\n”That’s sweet, Stephen, really, but you can’t help feed the pigs wearing a suit and tie.”\n\n”Oh, that’s okay, Mike, I wasn’t planning on helping. I was planning on pretending to help. The key word there being ‘pretend.’ I’ll pretend to help and you pretend that I got dirty. I’ll give direction. Everybody needs direction.”
-
Fake News | Rob/Ed, Jon | PG | [untitled earring ficlet]
“No,” Rob countered, leaning back in his chair, “it’s gay and brings out the gay in your eyes.”
“You bring out the gay in my eyes,” Ed shot back.
-
Strangers With Candy | Chuck/Geoffrey, Jerri | NC-17 | Hard Time
Had he found someone new and not incarcerated? Was he having sex with his wife, and how did that even work, anyway? Would he make Geoffrey pay for the window? Was neon orange a good color to offset his beautiful hair? These matters required a lot of critical thought, and thirty days imprisonment plus 45 hours of community service were good for that.
-
Fake News | “Stephen”(/Jon), Raven(/Jon) | R | A Good Wife
It’s not gay if RAVEN fancies Jon, right?
-
Sherlock (BBC) | Holmes/Watson, Mycroft, Mrs. Hudson, OCs | PG-13 | Horse And Carriage
Asexual!Sherlock/John. Sherlock proposes. John thinks the whole idea is ludicrous.
-
Doctor Who | Seven, Ace, OCs | PG-13, character death | Lost Luggage and Lost Souls
Because listing bus stations as something you hate just begs writers to put you there. The Seventh Doctor and Ace join an odd cast of characters in time to get held hostage, and the Doctor remembers why he prefers saving worlds to smaller crises.

Another round of personal possessions to offer to the masses, before I move and no longer have the space.
This is a group of various sculptures and art projects, mostly Sailor-Moon-themed. I don’t know how much interest there will be, but they are most likely getting thrown out if nobody wants them, so I present the list on the off chance they can bring joy into someone else’s life instead.
All up for grabs, free plus the cost of postage. First come, first serve. Stake your claim by Tuesday the 24th; after that, unless Mom has a change of heart and decides she’s willing to store them, out they go.

Moon tier (12″ high). Top to bottom: Sailor Cosmos, Chibi Chibi, Small Lady, Princess Serenity, Queen Serenity. CLAIMED

Jeeves & Wooster | Jeeves/meta!Wooster, others | PG-13 | Bertie Wooster Sees Through It
Bertie Wooster has written six Jeeves novels, is editing the seventh, and trying dashed hard to start the eighth. Maybe it’s time, he thinks, to stop writing this Jeeves character.
-
Doctor Who | Seven, Ace, Merlin, OCs | PG | A Man at Intervals
Ace and the Doctor find themselves in the parallel universe that (was/will be) created by the Doctor, as Merlin, when he left a message that his younger self (found/will find). Arthurian legend is punctuated by anachronistic poetry, somebody’s timeline is fictional, and Ace has two Doctors to keep out of trouble.

The Chomskybot’s most interesting effects are in the mind of the beholder, especially since its output not infrequently induces a strong feeling of inferiority in the unsuspecting, a sense of “I just don’t get it, so I must be dumber than I’d thought.” This is the Turing Test in reverse, and humans should resist allowing themselves to fail.
